Phara Sun Gold was sold to a Mrs. Kildahl in California. She produced one foal. Sadly, this was the only foal Sun Gold had, and this foal was never registered.
Sun Gold was later sold to Valarie Dressel of Hawaii. Once again Sun Gold returned to Phara Farm around 1993 to try again for a foal ~ Sun Gold never conceived. So Sun Gold was returned to Arizona where Valarie kept her horses.
At the age of 19, when Phara Sun Gold came to us, we too were hopeful that we could get her bred. However, by this time we believe her system had just shut down. So we knew at this point that Sun Gold would just live out the rest of her life with us. Sun Gold was still with us, at age 31, and is dearly missed ~ Sun Gold looked so much like her dam, Lewisfield Sungal!
